subframe installation question..
whats happening fellas .. well i just received my mm xl full length subframe connectors .. someone had mentioned to me it would be a good time to install new springs ... just curious what is the purpose of having the wheels up on a lift while installing these things(no im not about to attempt it myself just curious )is it to compress the springs ?? do i have to install new springs or is it ok if i do it sometime down the road .. does it matter ???
btw i have a 93 stock hatch 5.0

Springs should have no affect on the subframe install, but ideally you want the car on a drive on lift so the weight of the car is sitting like it does on the road. Lifting the car by the frame can cause the chassis to flex and be welded crooked. People have had problems closing their doors after such installations.
sorry to hijack the thread as i too just received my upr full lengths and i was holding them up tonite and it looks likeu have move or remove the fuel lines to weld them up any info what did u guys do that have them
