Which Intake Manifold???
I aplogize to any of you who have see this type of post before. I really can't find what I need elsewhere or with the search.
I need any intake manifold for 1500-6500. The obvious choices are Trickflow Track Heat, Edlebrock Performer RPM II, Holley System Max II, or a used GT-40. Are there any that are good, but not in my list? I am leaning toward the TFR, but really would like to find a GT-40! LMK, thanks.

Fuel Injection
EFI SPYDER Intake Manifold
If you want more horsepower instead of excuses, consider the EFI SPYDER fuel injection intake manifold. Available for Ford 302 (5.0L), 351W, 351C and 460 big block engines. The EFISPYDER manifolds accept any size throttle body (up to 90MM) and includes jumbo fuel rails and "Power Elbow" plenum at no extra cost.

RE: Which Intake Manifold???
no bbk.
i used to want that one too.
until u ask someone who's had one.
they work like crap dont waiste ur money.
and i may be mistaken but i think those spyder manifolds are a little worse than the holleys and stuff but they really shine if u have forced induction.
not sure if thats true but i remember reading it on these forums before.
but if it were me id go with the edelbrock or holley.

RE: Which Intake Manifold???
At BBKPerformance.com they have an article comparing a Ported Cobra with a the SSI. The SSI came out on top by about 12 at peak and a little bit more under the curve. Since I have a non-Cobra intake the gains are tempting. Also I found the BBK SSI thread with a a really good comparison of many popular manifolds. I'll post it in a minute.

RE: Which Intake Manifold???
everyone on here that has one hates it and sells it.
i guess u cant keep oil from getting into the pcv system no matter what you do.
and the quality isnt the usual bbk top notch stuff like their other things.
i cant make u not get it but be prepared to sell it

Post 11 have a great comparison of many popular intakes. As for the SSI, I will shy away from it due to all the commotion. I'll liking the Eddy RPM II. I hope the graph helps. Sticky?

RE: Which Intake Manifold???
i have the spyder intake there are pics in my sig and they are good intakes for forced induction but since i am planning for the future but if you are planning on staying n/a i would say the holley and that intake is awsome n/a or forced induction. i like the spyder and it shines when you put some boost behind it and it looks good.
