Default 429/460 SN95

i have read a ton of posts of people starting to do this , but i was wondering if anyone has pics/ videos of their BB SN95, and what does this engine plate do?, i know there is a **** ton of fox's that have it done, but i want to have something diffrent, so i'm looking to do this slowly. here's the plan for it

Stage 1 (3-6 months)
buy a 94-98 gt/ sixxer- doesnt matter if it runs ( no more than $1k)
pull out the old engine and sell ( $500 for the Motor gt,$ 250 for the sixxer)
pull the tranny ( auto= $400 manual = $550)
pull the rear end ( replace witha built 8.8)
pull all the wiring for fuel injection out

Stage 2 (6-9 months)
buy a 429/460 out of the junk yard w/ c6 ($500)
buy the tubular k member ( $250)
buy conversion kit from summit/ jegs ($900)
buy holley 870 CFM ( $400)
buy upgraded fuel system ( i have no idea i need help on this.)
buy big cam (i need help here too guessing $300)
aluminum heads (used i found a set on ebay for $800)

Stage 3 (1 month)
Installation time shouldnt take more than a couple weeks on and off.

So, whats the question? There's an sn95 with a 460 at http://fordifiedracing.homestead.com/bigblockfox.htmlon the front page towards the bottom.

a block plate is used in conjunction with the motor mounts. generally cars that use a block plate, i've always heard it called a engine plate and hopefully we're talkin bout the same thing, are makin big power. its to aid in keeping the engine securly mounted to the frame/car. or at least thats my understanding so somebody chime in if im off

If you're talking motor plates, thats what I have in my 68. Use a front and mid mount and then the trans crossmember. You also need limiters to stop front to back movement.

if ur lookin at road racing, then i would drop the 429/460 idea. it could still be done, but its prolly not the best choice

well the type of suspension you put in there will depend on your intentions with the car. do you want it to be a drag car, road race, or just a general street bruiser? and if you just want it for the street, which one of the other options would be more important than the other.
