RE: Different 5.0 question
what year are you thinking of getting?
i had a '92 eddie baur edition w/351w. it had a 7" lift w/33s. previous owner put on aftermarket heads (not sure what kind) and a k&n intake, and that thing was pretty quick. it was an awesome truck. i hated getting rid of it, but it was my winter vehicle and it was starting to rust pretty bad. i also went through like 3 alternators, and the rear window motor took a crap.
i'd say look for one that doesn't have too much rust, specifically in the wheel wells, the bottom of the doors, and the tailgate.
hope this helped. just be aware it'll be another vehicle to buy mods for (it was for me)

RE: Different 5.0 question
My friend's Bronco was holding up pretty well with just under 270k on it. The engine had been rebuilt but the rest of the truck was original. The rust is pretty hard to get away from with these trucks though. It's one of the most common problems. Mine has had a gaping rust hole on the passenger rear fender for awhile now that just bubbled right through my repair job (wasn't that great of a job though). Same thing is starting to happen on the other side now too [:@].

RE: Different 5.0 question
One of my friends just bought an '88 Bronco and he's going crazy putting money into it instead of his Malibu.
It was just supposed to be a daily beater but he discovered 4 wheeling and is putting a 6" lift and bigger tires on it and is considering a 460 swap.

RE: Different 5.0 question
Well I have a Honda Accord Station wagon (Insert jokes about driving the grocery getter here) for a DD. I am just looking for something that is 4x4, and is fun to drive in the woods, mud (Duck hunting),and on the beach (***** hunting). Thinking about doing some 33's with a 6 inch lift as well. Is there a Huge difference between the 302 and 351. They want dramaticly more for them out here on the shore.

RE: Different 5.0 question
another problem area on the full size broncos are the radiator core supports which it has two frame to body mounts under it and they rust up pretty bad there too....sen alot of them come in like that here[:@]
