newbie question

i know 50's are well known for having idle issues lately my cars been reving up to 2k and i know theres a leak either in my vac lines or intake but.... iono what are vac lines or how to check for leaks any suggestions?

this could also be the tps, needs to be set under 1 volt like .98 .99 if this is out the car will idle up and down an sometimes stall this is on top of the thottle body 2 srews need a multimeter to ckeck

spry carb cleaner where you think your vaccum leaks are when the car is running.The idle will change if there is a leak!

Don't feel alone man I'm going through the exact same problem!!!!!!! I changed my tps and it helped but didn't solve the problem I'll hook up a meter and check that I haven't done that yet I'll let you know how it goes

quickest way is take it to a shop that has a smoke machine
