70% of your power comes from your head's as long as everthing matches them. heads intake cam then you might be able to use the carbyou took off

Add some headers and a 2.5" off road H-pipe. As for carb size, unless youre running something REALLY radical or super high RPM a 650 double pumper should be plenty.

so i think ill upgrade the cam and get a k&n air filter.
i was thinking of straight piping it and getting rid of the stock exhaust.

considering your age... you should focus more on improving your driver mod, before trying to go faster

for one thing were i live everyone learns to drive at around 10-12 years old. i have been driving my step dads truck whenever im at his house for the pat 5 years n(its a 76'ford custom with a 460 engine)so i can handle a little powere dont worry about that. and its not all for speed but as well as gas mileage and making my car nicer, smoother, and all around better.
and yes i know i said i want to go fast and thats true but i want to do it safely and somewhatlegaly.
i only speed when some a$$hole trys to pass me when im already going 65mph on the highway.
or when im racing and the road completly empty and clear.at 2-3 in the morning.
