Hi guys .I am back into the 5.0 Mustang thing.Had an 88 GT back in 90 loved it had alot of fun in that car.Well I have acquired an 88 LX real cheap.Wanna make a budget hot rod out of her.I live 4 miles from a new 1/4 mile track.The engine and tranny are out of the car.The bottom end is stock and in good shape.I have already got a set of GT40p heads.Torquer II intake 4.10 gears and a 650 Holley DP.All I need to do is pick a cam.I am planning on buying long tube headers.It had been gutted .The car is a 5 speed state patrol car.I am looking for a tire burner my and the wife can go to the track in and have a good time.What do you guys suggest?
