89 cobra engine

I can get my hands on 89 cobra engine but i dont know how much to offer him for it.What do you guys think?Its complete from oilpan to upper intake ,but also needs rebuilding.

89 cobra.... riiiiiggghhht.... give him 300 bucks, your buying a stock gt motor, unless it has the cobra ****...e ven so its not an 89

aaahhh. maybe he just put a cobra intake on it.If its a cobra engine what would the castings be on the heads?if Someone could tell me?Thanx

im not sure what the casting number is but i know there should be three bars on the head near the freeze out plugs

I wouldnt pay more than $200 for a junk stock motor.

alrighty then .Thanx for the info guys.Im only going to offer him $125 and see what he says.if not i will go abit bit higher.Iwant a motor to rebuild anyways.Thanx
