Just realize that when you get a body kit, that is usually the least expensive part is the process is the kit purchase. It pays to go with a higher quality kit like Cervini, because less prep work will need to be done.

I used to write estimates for a living, and I will tell you that shops don't like putting on and prepping bad kits, or pretty much kits period. I have heard shops ask for 10-12 (ten hours on average) of prep time where the manufacturer only suggest 4-5. Body shop rates in my area are roughly $50 an hour for walk-ins. Plus you have to add your paint and materials on top of that...then the shop will hit you for tint color, flex agent, color sand and buff etc. etc.

If we put an aftermarket or RECON bumper cover on a car, and it costs $179 just for the part, you are looking at roughly $550 out the door paint and install, and that is just for a standard sized fascia- that's with no buff, flex, or tint time.

So get a good kit that you like, but be prepared to pay...
