pro 5.0 question

Default pro 5.0 question

hi guys i currently have a steeda triax shifter on my 92 gt and i was thimking about changing to a pro 5.0 is this one better should i do it or not let me know

is the mgw better also do i need to cut the inner boot with my tri ax because i didnt cut it and it feels like my shifting is being stop or getting caught between the shifter so do i need to cut the inner boot

i want to get rid of my triax too. i hate it. it was a waste of money. i should've gotten a pro50, hurst, or mgw.

It is pretty much personal pref. I have really only heard of one person not liking the Tri-Ax before, and they weren't evenpast the break in point. Maybe you need to look at how it is installed again, as you suggested.

I have the Hurst Competition Plus and it is poor. I actually prefer the tri-ax after the pro 5.0. good luck with whatever you do.

I snapped my old tri-ax in half

BTW.. i can get NEW B&M Ripper shifters for $175 shipped

i installed my triax just fine. it shifts fine, just not what i was expecting. its choppy. you dont go from like 1st to 2nd smoothly. theres a pause in between. granted, this goes away when i'm really stepping onit, but i tend to shift slower when i'm just cruising.
