my carfax reportfor my 93 also said gt/cobra as did my carfax report from the 89 i used to have .. i dont know about the 89 but im positive the 93 was made in michigan .. i think all carfaxes list them as gt/cobras ......
if you use a vin decoder in your vin after the letter k which is the code for 89 the next letter should stand for the assembly plant your car was made in .. just google vin decoder ...

Lord....kids..all the foxes were made in the same plant. There were no differences in the cars labled 'cobra' and those maked GT....nothing but a sticker...maybe that makes it fast, but I doubt it...lord.

Almost Correct only All 1982 - 1993 where F = Dearborn, MI, 1979 - 1981 are either F= Dearborn, MI; R= San Jose, CA.
