dude, u CAN run it without the o2s trust me. my first stang was a 88 lx and i drove it without o2s for a while and all it did was throw the check engine light. itll be ok man.

It will run ok on a cold motor (open loop)since the O2 sensors dont do anything until the motor is at operating temp (closed loop).\

I wish I couldve found a 5.0/5 speed that cheap. I just bought a 5 speed setup and paid $700 for it.

Id build the motor into a stroker and probably sell most of the parts off the car.
You'd easily make a profit from the parts on various Mustang forums and ebay.

the cheapest notch ive found by me was in crappy condition and they still wanted 1500 for it.
the paint was bad, doors were rusty, interior was shot, and it had a 4cyl that ran rough.
so you lucked out big time.

hey guys im going to go out and screw with it i have to atleast put the headers back on should i start it up with just headers or should i get under the car and hook up the stock h pipe too??????

should i hook up the headers and stock h pipe so i dont hurt anything or will i be alright to only hook up the headers and start it i just want to hear it run first?

put the headers on and run it. itll be ok. loud..........but ok. u wont burn a valve or anything catastrophic so go for it

well just got back from dinner at the folks place and have to work tomorrow so i ll screw with it more tomorrow i did put a battery in it and it turns over fine so saturday ill try to start it up.

I would bolt on the mid pipe if you are going to run it for any length of time. Shorty headers are not sufficient enough.
