1972 302 HELP
well first you need to decided carb'ed or fuel injected?? carb'ed will be a lot cheaper and less hassle.....fuel injection will require all proper hardware, wiring and ecm....amongst other things......also a 72 302 is a non roller motor and if going fuel injected I'd suggest using a roller cam block
yeah it'll work ......just gotta build it right and not sure about k-member on v-6 cars but get the proper driveline parts and a lot of work ahead of you!!! to do!!!
...but the motor will work with any cab set up you choose

Mjr, Just wondering why you advise going with a roller block if going with fuel injection??? I doing a swap with a 76' 302 block and am going with fuel injection. I was just curious of the thought on this
I think you'll need an oil pan for the Mustang in any case.
I would use a C-4 thats a pan-fill type.
That would bolt up to the early 302 and still fit the car. Pan fill because they are more durable than case fill.
If the V-6er don't have an 8.8 rearend, go shopping..........
