Default Rear Differential Problem

Today i drove my stang for like an hour and i was noticing this loud craking noises in the differetial. Its only when i start going slow. It scared me because i braked and I heard that loud noise. Lately my car has been leaking Gear oil from the differential. What do you guys think it is.

If it's leaking oil, the first thing I would do is check the fluid level. Does it do when you are going straight, when you are turning, or both?

my rear end started making noises randomly, then it did it constantly.

turned out my low fluid caused a wheel bearing to go out.

i wouldent go saying that yet, what i did was put it up on jackstands and have someone get it up to like 40 and use a stethoscope to pinpoint the problem.

if ur lucky its a wheel bearing..
