what do you guys feel that a gt40 TUBULAR upper and lower intake sell for?

 

$150, but people like to ask more due to rarity

 

you really only feel that its worth 150, your craaazy broseph. <3. Ive seen them go on ebay for over 500. Ive got a chance to get one for around 350, maybe a little less, just wondering if ya think i should grab it or not to either use or resell.

Im wanting to do a cheap h/c/i this winter, maybe not the cam since the stock cam isnt to bad in the 91gt's but we will see.

there worth it to me there the only badass looking intake there is for the 5.0 and port the lower and it will support a lot.

 

thanks for the info, and no its not the one from houston its actually on ebay, and im not longer interested in it. However i did find a gt40 lower that has been ported and an explorer upper thats kinda dirty but thats ok with bolts included. Said he would take 235 shipped bottom dollar, ive got a feeling i could get him to go a lil lower but not much.

he said that the regular stock gaskets work with the lower. I thought porting ment that you made the ports themselves bigger and would need a bigger gasket, maybe im wrong though, i dont know a whole lot on that subject really. he said that the inside is very smooth and not rough, and would add an additional 15hp or so compared to a regular gt40 lower.

He said with the upper/lower/fcam and a few other lil mods, he made a little over 310rwhp. This sound legit, he had full exhaust and underdrive pullies and electric fan.

 

That price isn't bad at all. I sold my GT40 lower and Explorer upper seperately on ebay for 260 shipped in factory form. Honestly the tubular GT40 may look better, but there isn't much difference in flow/performance.

 

An Explorer upper/lower, elbow, fuel rail and injectors went on Ebay for $102. Although i already have one, I was going to buy it and resale it but I didn't realize I wasn't logged in when I went for the snipe. [:@]
