From: In Geo-synchronous orbit over redass' bathroom,
not sure if this belongs here as im new to the 5.0 sections but here goes:
i just bought an `89 GT
the car came with a "factory installed" alarm
the guy i bought it from said that if the alarm
remote ever runs out of batteries and i cant start the car to simply
hit a small switch under the fuse panel while depressing the clutch
and starting the car.
so i did this and cant get the car to start.
i switched on the emergency flashers and they didnt come on;
the door switches wouldnt work either.
this leads me to conclude that the car's battery is dead
any ideas????
MODS: if this needs to be moved please PM
