ok bought some gears from a guy off ebay but didnt realize theyre not ford racing. i recieved them today theyre brand new, i got everything but the axle seals n bearings. i paid $145 total. are these that bad compared to the ford racing?

well if they are ford those should be fine too. i am not sure but i think there should be a serial number stamper into each gear that should be the same to make sure the pinion and ring match since they are a set that is not supposed to be broken up.

 

yea theyre good i just didnt want to install these if theyre not really good for perf. wise.

They might be stock replacements for a Ford and if so theyll be fine.

 

yea theyre stock replacement came directly from them it had the sticker with the part# on the box. if theyll be ok then thats good. i just gave the rear to the guy to be rebuilt. should be up n running next weekend. still have a lot more to do yet.
