Default BFG Drag Radials

They have another design now. The have the new and traditional style. Was wondering if anyone has used the new style tire yet? I guess i'll be buying some bfg's because the mt radials are on national backorder. First pic is old style, second pic is new style.

.

While I haven't personally tried the new style yet, I have used the older ones and they are in my opinion one of the best out there...Some of my friends have used the new style and have also had nothing but positive to say about them. They seem like a great choice.

Can you get both styles in both sizes? Last i checked the new style was for larger wheels, like 18" but maybe they make both now. That new style has been out for quite a while.

I think the first pic is the old g force 1's,not 100% sure but i thought the tires in the second pic are meant for fwd/awd.I bought a set of g force 2's and they look like these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....es&place=0

They are both available in 275/50/15 and have the same part #BFG-82648. I have the traditional one' now but they are bald enough to be used as slicks next year. Here is a link.

They are $160 at summit. According to the write up on the tires the newer style is supposed to be stickier and claims more consistent et's at track. I would assume that to be a non biased opinion since they make both of them and they are the same price as the other's. I've had the regular bfg's in the first pic and alway's liked them. I'm wondering if the newer style will be a good looking tire on my fox.

I'm looking for more opinions on these tires and the looks. I've never seen the newer style on any car. I've got some of the original's and know i like them but they need to be replaced. Want to know how you guy's think the newer one's will look, i'm ordering tommorow morning and the tire's will be in wendesday.
