Default air/fuel gage

im gonna be ordering some gauges in the next couple days and need your guys' recomendations. I remember reading that if you get a air/fuel gauge you have to get the wideband because the others are practically useless. but i dont have 300 to spend on an autometer wideband gauge. so is the other shortband(or whatever you call it) even worth buying? if not what other gauge do i need, im getting a tranny temp for sure, and before my car starts ill be getting a oil pressure gauge. is there anything else i should look into? thanks everyone.

and in your personal opinion, would a pillar pad or that gauge holder that takes place of my clock look better? im split and cant decide.

IMO, the narrow band will alert you to a rich or lean problem. That's about it. I have one, you can't use it for tuning, but it let me know there was a problem even though the car was running ok. Your choice, I'm not sorry I bought it.

true. its getting dyno tuned so i shouldnt have to worry much about it for tuning should i?
so then the narrow band autometer should work just fine then.
now i just need to decide about where i want to mount them.

when installing the air/fuel gage, do i connect the sensor wire to just one o2 sensor or do i splice it into two wires and connect it to each? This part has me a little confused.

hey, ive got a 94 gt and i think that the best place to put gauges are the instrument cluster dual pods and the steering column single pods. you can find them in the mustang part of the jegs catalogue
