Hey everybody, havent been here for months. I found myself a 2000 Impreza, and am sticking with that. Still have the rustbucket of the 5.0, but come spring time its gone.
What have I missed?

 

glad to see your back, sorry to hear you bought an impreza. Are you selling the vert? Are you parting it out? Are there any mods? What are you asking for it?

 

My 5.0 was way too expensive. I would have had to get a winter truck, 2 insurances and soo much work I would live there(minus school).
Its being totally redone in a body shop, new floors,quarters, GT front bumper,racing seats,carpet,new engine and tranny seals, eibach lowering springs, k&N cai.
It will be painted Nighthawk Blue Metallic(black with blue sparkle).
Ill be selling for $6500 obo, OR A TRADE FOR A NICE HATCH W/ MODS.

 

you cant afford a 5.0 but will trade for a hatch?

 

now I have my impreza, its all good. And the insurance diff for me from a vert to hatch is 100ish.

 

Wow, How much were you quoted at the body shop for all that work?

They wanted 12,000 for quarters, floors, and paint???

Just buy one that isn't rusty for virtually half that
