I recently had purchaseda 26 gallon air compressor. I returned it because it would not build enough pressure to even get my lugnuts of my wheels haha.

Anyways, what size compressor are you guys running in your home garages?

 

that sucks i was planning on getting a 26 gallon cause they say that is the lowest size you can get you run an air gun. what bs.. what kind did you get?

 

yeah I was pretty bummed... it was a Kobalt 26 gallon, and it came with 6 air tools.
I work at Lowes part time (2nd jobs suck) so I got it during my 20% off

 

I doubt a 26 gallon air compressor can't get lug nuts off. i can do it with a 5 gal. Your impact is probably junk and doesn't have enough torque. Check the torque specs on it

 

That would be a weak gun. But to answer your question, I have a 6hp 60gal comp.

 

I got a Farm Hand(just like a Ingersol, but less money) 5 horse, 26 gallon, 125psi and it is great...I can do anything with it, run impacts, ratchets, paint, grinders....best $400 I ever spent. I got mine at Tractor Supply

 

That' exactly what it is. I have a craftsman 6hp, 30 gal. tank. I bought a cheap impact wrench and it would not budge the lugs. I returned it and bought one from sears. It has 580lbs of torque and the reverse has more torque, it rips them lug nuts off.

 

I have a 33 gallon, it's pretty mint. Ingersoll Rand Impact guns FTW!

 

thanks guys, the impact gun that came with the kit must have been crap, I returned it today anyway

 

they usually are, those kits are not high quality.
