86_GT_Mustang...

i have an 85, so i have the same interior pretty much and was thinkin about doin mine black becuase it doesnt look all that great right now. For the front dash stuff like around all the guages and on the passenger side there did you just sand it like that and spray. Does the paint like scratch easily, or if done right can this look and be decent for a good amount of time.

i just cleaned it off.. then sprayed.. no scratches so far.

Im going to be doing this ( getting dash parts from a junkyard stang) the interiors blue mines grey. how well will the paint cover the other colors? Im going to have to paint the whole thing arent i? theres noway it will match will it?

It's probably best to just paint it all. Do several light coats and it will cover any stock color you don't want to show through.

yeah thats what ive been reading on a few articles i noticed. will the paint match up with a new dash pad tho?
