Default Ebay crate motor

What do you guys think of this:

Car is just used as a daily driver, no big racing plans, just need a reliable engine.

Well with a motor that cheap i would be concerned with quality, a friend of mine got one from a shop like that. We took it home and immediatly retorqued everything. It was all off, probably just dont with an impact

those are lower compression pistons also. it says that it'll give 9:1 compression but with 58cc heads. gotta keep your eye on that stuff

I've also got to question quality on that engine.
Look at the claims made for it 350HP and then they tell you it's on a stock cam?

I find it funny where it lists that there is a oil pump and timing set included, but in the small print below it says, " Note: All short blocks are not complete and will need lifters, headers, intake system or carburetor, heads, timing chain bolt and cover, frontal accessories, oil pump, pick up tube, and oil pan."

HMM..JUST A STOCK BLOCK/ REBUILD[&:].....it's not the stock 302 bottom end that makes the power ..it's the good matched choice /combo of heads, cam and intake

Read their print after the dyno chart...they used the Holley SystemMax heads/intake and a custom cam which they didn't list. They say right after that your engine might have lower numbers depending on equipment.

Well yeah, the Systemax II claims 350hp on a 5.0 using their cam, intake, heads and such so those numbers would be about right for a stock rebuilt shortblock for $700 and a $2500 Systemax II kit for the top.
