anyone use the wiper delete on their fox ? i ordered them from mustangs unlimited.com they are 2 bullit bullet shaped covers that go over the stubs where your wipers mount .. i can get them to fit over the stubs ... but the one in the cowl where the allen key screw is its too low to tighten it and on the other stub the screw is too high and not touching anything any ideas ???

Yeah, I had the same problem. I improvised. I took electrical tape, wrapped the lil nubbs until the delete fit snug, and pushed them on.

 

yeah i thought about something like that but the one not in the cowl looks like it should go down further its just sticking out too much looks retarded does that black ring right under the stub come off ? that might give it some more room .. the other one dont look that bad i can always grind down the allen key to make it fit in there but the other dam one the screw dont even touch the stub goes right through

 

Honestly, it's been too long to remember. they've been on there a while. I do remember I didn't modify the nubbs at all incase the wipers had to go back on. I was disappointed w/ the fit. I geuss they're made to fit more than 1 car.

 

pro do you have that on your mustang? is it street legal?
