Default fuel filter?

Is there any specific fuel filter I should look into or just anyone will do? Just curious as some of you may have had better luck with differnt companies. So would someone please fill me in?

Thanks

I believe your car is stock, so my guess is you would be fine with the motorcraft one from ford. I changed the one in mine when I bought it and put in motorcraft. Havent had any problems.

Funny you should ask about fuel filters. I went to Autozone and O'reilly's here in TX to purchase a fuel filter for my 5.0. The autozone filter was$6 and had "Made in China" stamped on it. I said fock that!

So then I went to O'reilly's. Their filter was "Made in China" too. Being made in China, I was concerned about the filter media and flow through the media.

I called the Ford Dealer to find out how much their filter was. $18.00.That seemedsomewhat high to me. So...then I called NAPA. Their Gold-Line filter was $14 and was made in the U.S.

I bought the filter fromNAPA.
