These days, their all about the same. What type of features are you looking for? I have an excaliper on mine. About 14 years old now. The brain has been replaced once in that time. Been a great alarm. Not even sure if it's made anymore.

Pretty easy stuff. I never had the trunk popper option. Allthough I have no idea why. Lock/unlock and the windows roll up when set. Remote starts are over rated.

on my compustar alarm I had lock, unlock, remote start and remote hatch. remote start is illegal on stick shift cars and its retarted, went to pop my trunk one day when my remote start was "supposidly" disconnected and my stupid fat fingers accidently hit 2 buttons and car ran into my garage... Stupid Circuit city people...

I have remote locks/trunk/starter. And I love it. The module cost me like $80 and I had to have a few thigns wired by a shop and that was an extar $50. So for 130 I was more than satisfied! I dont have an alarm though. I went with an autostart brand. At first I didnt car about the remote starter, but once you have it, its a nice feature. I have a 5 spd btw, and its virtually impossible to leave it in gear and autostart it. On mine it has to be in ready mode which involves leaving the car on when you get out and when you lock the doors the car shuts off. And if a door opens, it exits ready mode.

the remote start is nice but not soo needed, letting it warm up in the winter would be its main purpose...

any links to places i could buy an alarm/un/locker that is for sure going to wireup to a stang no problemo?
