I have flat black valve covers and im painting my intake manifold grey/silver. Engine bays a semi-gloss black, cars a silver. What color should i paint my block and heads? Should i just paint them the same color as my intake manifold? Any suggestions?

I wouldn't go with silver or black believe that would bea little over kill on those colors. Maybe Ford engine blue or red. What year is the car?

hereis mine i just recently painted it and put together dropped it in last nite gonna finish the tranny and wiring and fire it up. but i wanted to be different all the other ford motors that i have done have all been ford blue nothing wrong with it just wanted to be different this time.

its an 85, its carbed. I think im leaning towards a ford blue though.

yes it is it is bright i kinda like iti want to paint the rollbar its gettin same color along with a little flame work in the same color on my cowl hood

I have always liked red on blocks. I recently went with black, but that is because my car is red.

you left that pic big to show off the nice poster on your wall. how about ford grey, look in the ford catalogue, all there blocks and heads are grey.
