RE: 1990 LX
Yea im thinking about starting by putting in a JLT CAI. Do i need to get a tune up after i install it. I know on the newer mustangs a tune up is needed to get everything straightened out but do i need to do it on my 1990

RE: 1990 LX
No man you don't need a tune after a CAI. The new Mustangs are a lot more picky you don't really need a tune for anything small like that. It might help to tune your car after heads/cam/intake or forced induction, but for bolt ons your fine.
Another idea is maybe change motor/tranny/rear to synthetics if you have no leaks.
