As growing up as a teenager at the track and then sum. I saw my father run multiple MSD ignitions with zero trouble. I watched for years and he never hadany kind of trouble. Just a thought,
MSD of "back in the day" was better than the "made in mexico" crap we have now
hey adder i didnt see that thread was a joke like i said i didnt read it so how is the car runnin?
so far, not good. There was an oil galley plug that was not installed whent he motor was built, so I almost wiped out my bearings the first time I started it
which plug the one on top in back? or one of the front ones? so had to tear it apart again?
so how did u know u had an oil gallery plug out leaking oil ? oil pressure?
Probably both. I had a similar problem. I installed all the new plugs on the engine stand, get the engine in the car, and hooked up the radiator. I start to pour coolant into the radiator and there it goes out onto the ground. I was like WTF!? I begin looking at the old block for reference of what plug I may have missed. Turns out that the new block had one more threaded plug inbetween the motor mount bolts that was not on the old engine. So I had to remove that motor mount, jack up the engine, and thread in a plug from underneath the car. What a PITA that was. I'm just glad it's all done and over with. Now I just need to get this pesky CEL figured out, and get it to a dyno.
