Ok guys, I think I am down to getting one of these two mustangs.

White one: 89GT, 79K, garaged most of its life, recently lost storage space. I went to see this one but did not drive it. body, interior and engine bay looked pristine. Car overall looks very well taken care of. totally stock except for nasa hood, alarm and radio. will drive it tomorrow.

Red one: 92GT, about 80K, also garaged. 373 rear. totally stock except for rear and taillights. Will see and drive this one tomorrow.

Both want about 6K but both are negotiable. How much should I pay, and which one should I buy?!

Why do both of them have hideous wheels on them?

 

I don't think the stock wheels are that bad and the white ones look better than the pics show

 

I would not pay more than 5K for either...not saying these 5.0's are bad or anything.

 

the rims on the white one are saleens, tho they are old saleens, like '84-86 saleen rims...

and I agree, talk em down to 5k if you can....

 

i thought the whute one's were mclaren wheels , i agree on the 5k part but those fox's in that shape around here go for like 7-8k , they are nice though .i would take the white one myself .

Ditch the taillights on the red car and that would be a nice ride

 

yeah im not a fan of the 2tone so id go with the red one, but ditch the taillight.
exspecially since its already got 3.73's which are usually a necessary mod anyways.

 

i would get the red one if i had to chose, then i would throw those tail lights in the trash because they should never be on a fox imo....
