Flywheel question...
Teach me something today...
What is the difference in a 157 tooth and 164 tooth flywheel. The reason for asking is I need to replace the ring and need to buy one this afternoon.
It's for a manual trans.

Yep, go with the 157 tooth. It matches the starter teeth better.
157 tooth, is 157 teeth all the way around the ring gear.
Older engines had the 164 teeth ring gear.

I hear ya, but the king cobra is almost 1/2 the price of the centerforce. I've read good and bad about both of them.
