Default front sway bar

is there any advantage to taking off the front sway bar. I keep hearing things about it giving you a faster 1/4 mile time but does it make the car feel sloppy if you take it off? reason im asking is im putting on new control arms and this would be the best time to take it off if theres any benefit in doing so. thanks for any replys.

dont do it if you are a daily driver. track cars only IMO. stangs are sloppy around corners as it is, you dont need to make them looser lol

the reason people remove the sway bar in part is not just for weight savings..... by removing it....it allows the free travel of the front control arms to lift easier and quicker....hence allowing weight transfer to occur quicker by allowing front to raise quick with out the sway bar limiting travel /lift of the front lower control arms ..it'll most benifit 60 ft times
