any u guys remember that spring loaded, "draw blind" looking, vinyl hatch area cover thingy that most of us take out and throw in a cornerof the garage after a week of owning our hatchback fox? what is it called? where do i find one? mine got destroyed {while standing in the corner} and i cant find one in decent shape for the restore of our 90gt. i found one at a local salvage but the ends wouldnt fit my hatch properly, maybe it was the wrong yr or model, have checked several of the mustang sites with no luck. any hints? thanx.

 

why do people take them out in the first place? i like mine it covers my system

 

well, back in the day, they tended to be in the way of uh,,,,, activities other than sound systems.

 

My car still has it and its in perfect shape! try ebay maybe, or some local junkyards. I've already had like 5 people ask me to sell it. I like it bc it hides my tools.

 

My car came with one as well.. Its sitting in my closet so it doesn't get torn up..

I think they're called cargo covers. Is there any chance that the dealer might still be able to get one? Maybe CJ pony parts?

 

Mine doesn't have that but it did come with the factory sun roof storage bag. Still in perfect shape.

 

does it screw up the sound of ur system tho...thats why i tossed mine, and my sub box is too tall anyway
