Default Question About Cams.

Alright, in the quest to find the right cam for our engine I have seen a lot of different options. Now in a lot of vids some cams seem to make the engine sound kind of bad, like up and down all over the place and not running steady. But all the vid's I've seen of the e303 cam the engines seem to run good. But my dad knows a guy who does mustangs and he thinks a e303 is an agressive cam. Is it an agressive cam ? I have also seen things like x303 f303 and all other kinds of cams. What the difference. And just how agressive is a e303 would you reccomend it ?

~Thanks.

ignore the fact that the "303" cams or "alphabet" cams, even exist.

They are outdated technology and there are other cams on the market for the same price or better... that will net you a better result.

also, your cam selection should be based on your engine build.. dont build around a cam, cam for a build!

Well, the e303 sounds like it runs steady. Most all others are all over the place. We like that the e303 sounds cammed, yet still runs steady.

most people do not take the time to do things correctly to get their cars to run right
