Hello all. Im not very familiar with this section sinced ive used the 4.6 section for the past 4 years. lol.

First of all my dad and I are thinking about getting a fox stang.There is this guy that works with my dad who is trying to get rid of an 89 or 92 notch. (dad's not sure of the year. lol). Its a 5 speed (Yipee!!!) and the only thing it needs is a paint job. He is selling it for 1500$. Th eonly main prob is that it has nearly 200,000 miles on it. It runs perfectly and drives like a dream though. I was wondering if this is a good deal or not. I thought I would ask some ppl who really know what they r talking abot. And if I do get it, what are the first mods that I should do to her. She is completely stock btw.

 

If the body is solid AND it run's. $1500 is a very good price.

if its all stock leave it that way will be worth some bucks.

i'd only be worried about cosmetics... especially quarter windows.. if they can be restored or not.

I cant waitt to get my notch. My 4.6 just has too many limits. and not to mention its an AUTO. :P. I'll prolly drive the fox around for a while, then I'll park it and start working on it. Maybe rebuild the engine.


the guy should be sending pics soon. he lioves in Atlanta and he said it would be perfectly safe to drive home. ill look and see if there is any rust.

 

Better hurry. I'm only about 100 miles south of ATL.
