Default mac pro dumps?

Hey guys, I've got an 89 mustang gt with flowmaster mufflers and theres a loud drone at 2000 rpm but other than that it's pritty quiet. I was thinking about getting some mac pro dumps. If you have these or have heard them, how do you like them? I'm looking to get rid of that drone and I like the sound but I'd just like it a little louder.

Do they have that anoying drone like the flowmaster mufflers? and do you think It will be any louder? I dont want it a lot louder just a little bit with a better tone, do you think these will do that? also because their industerialized metal should I paint them so they dont rust?
thanks in advance

the dumps I had were coated in some black stuff... I just pulled them off my biddies fox and they still look great.

I got rid of them because of the drone.... it was BAD.

I would get headaches driving back and fourth to the track.

Keep in mind that ALL chambered mufflers will have a bad drone

ya i know theres not really a way to get completly rid of the drone with chambered mufflers but would it be better than the flowmasters? Like a more consistant note than pick up majorly at 2000-2300 then quiet again.

would you be able to reccomend something that would sound better, I want a really raspy deep tone which is what I read about the pro dumps. could changing my stock manifolds to mac equal length shortys make it any louder and doubtfully take away some of the drone?
