ok i have a 96 3.5 5speed

i want to swap my 3.8 for a carb 5.0 with a cam and bolt on's

heres a ? i need help finding i ask befor and all i get is build the 3.8 im not wanting to build a 3.8 do to the fact that theres all kinds of 5.0 fox cars here in town i can find parts way eazyer and cheeper for a 5.0 the a 3.8 and you can make a 5.0 go faster cheeper

or people say use the search well when i did i looked at i know atleats 20 post and evey one told them to keep the 3.8 and had no swap info

i need to know
do i have to swap k members
can i change belthouseing and use my trany for now
will stock 5.0 mounts out of a 95 car work
will a 95 stock headers and y pipe work (just for down pipes i have a x pipe that will be added)

 

you'll need to swap k-member from a sn-95..and need a sn-95 bellhousing then I believe tranny will work..you'll also need a cross member and all mounts from a sn-95 and stock headers and h-pipe should work

 

what all years can i get a k member from

 

not to sure but I believe from a 94 and 95..I'm not as well versed on all the sn-95 compatibility swap stuff as I am with the fox bodies and older mustangs

 

the reason i ask when i look them up it says like 79-95
