Hey all from NC, Just wanted to stop in and say hey. Well here it is, I am wanting to trade my 98 cbr f3 in perfect condition with only 10k on the clock for a 1988 convert. 5.0 lx its black with tan interior and the owner now put black seats in it. the car in in good shape with 1 small dent in the quarter, looks like the size of a fist lol. well any ways its got some sick milage on it. Its at 193k but the owner says it has been babied all its life he is old and he is a body shop worker. it leaks up front somewhere he thinks its power stearing but with that kjind of milage i think its the fron main seal. o by the way its AOD. well he was selling it for $3500 and he said he will give me his car and 800 for my bike. what do you guys think? I mean there are a few other small things like driver side door handle, he said drivers door looks like it had some work done to it. I checked car fax and its clean, from car fax both ownerswere mad old, lol sorry to the oldies in here. to make a long story short i wanted $4000 for the bike i meen the pic speaks for it self.

As of what you herd what would you value the car at "Runs perfect rebuilt tranny with racing parts, shift hard, 355 gears, convert with one very small rip but it works like new, black faided paint, tan and black mixed interior, needs door handle on drivers door, 193k on original motor with small leak, cobra r rims new with new tires. trunk lid is missing the rack wich means holes in the lid, new flowmaster from cat back as you can see the pipes in the pic, and a dent in the quarter as you can also see in the pix

i think his asking price of 3500 is a bit high for it , the new top will run over 600 to replace it , the rack wouldn't be hard to find for the trunk as 4 popper lx's have them on em,idk man that will be up to you . but i don't know if i would trade that nice crotch rocket for it . that is pretty much your call .

ok you say 3g max and he wants to add on $800 cash ontop of the car so if i tell him 1200 cash instead of 8 i wouldnt be taking him for a ride?

^^^^^that seems fair as long as it'll pass inspection with little or minimal work if you have that where your located

I think its a go fellas. i just talked to him and he is bringing me the car tomorrow afternoon to look at it if i like it he is willing to pay 1200 ontop of the car. looks like ill be here more often. nice to know you gents!!!
