on swapping a 5.0 into a ranger, with little mods such as heads, cam, and maybe runnin a little shot of nos... and what do you guys think might be a problem if any when doing this?
If you have a concern on how to perform such a swap.....the rangerstation.com is the place to hit up....and or james duff enterprises... I will be performing in late summer a 5.0 swap into my 84 bronco II plow truck....I've had the motor ready on a stand for over a year..just no extra money yet to do the swap... soon hopefully!! I built a 83 mustang motor..stock e7 heads and a perform cam .448/.472 lift and performer 289 intake... nothin wild..just very mild
my friend had one with a 289 in it and man it was a screamer once it would hook up , you would deffinately have to do something with the rear suspensoin
well, by the way its sounds it should be a pretty easy build so as soon as i give the ol 5.0 an overhaul, imma find a little ranger and slap it in it, and i knew i was gonna have to do somethin about suspension, thats where the slicks come in......
