Default Clutch Cable ?

I have a UPR cable with quadrent and firewall adjuster. The clutch is rock hard, it did helped when I lubed it but didn't last long. I have a stock cable, will that give me less pedal effort? Will it work with the aftermarket firewall adjuster. Clutch is a spec stage 2 if your wondering

i used a steeda adjustable cable,quadrant,firewall adjuster.

sorry to detour your thread but i am having a hard time gettin my clutch adjusted in how did u guys set yours up.i was told to screw in f. adjuster all the way in towards firewall, then tighten up cable down below to about 1/8-1/4 of play and then back the adjuster above out until you get the pedal u want i did with an inch or so of freeplay and it engages about 1-1/2 - 2" off the flor but all it wants to do is chatter and what not when i take off

the MM is just a stock FORD cable that they sell for CHEAP! It is a little stiff but very smooth, but I also have a SPEC stage2+ which is known to be a little heavy
