Default rear control arms

i was wanting to put rear control arms on my 86 gt so i could put on wider tires, if i do this does this delete the quad shock altogether, and would i need to put sub frame connectors on if there is no qaud shock.

Yea you can remove the quad shocks, subframe connectors and torque box reinforcements would be added insurance.

I did my U/L control arms, welded subframe connectors, and weldedtorque boxes all at the same time
