sleeper project?

alright guys as I've stated I have a all stock 88 gt with perfect int. but it needs a paint job motor has 110,000 on it but still runs good no prblems there my dilema is to get it paited im looking at about $1200 to $1500 I know a guy who I worked with that will paint it but Im kinda considering putting it in primer and just using that money to add the bolt ons and what not no need to pull the motor yet should I do this or just get it painting and keep it all stock? sorry bout the long post

do your modding first then you won't have to worry about knicking fresh paint while building your dream car.. paint it last

first of all the car needs painted so I thought instead of riding around with a bad paint job I'll put it in primer and second I dont think its trailer park I think its smart but Im taking donations since u have your opinon maybe u can help me out

Just leave it with ugly paint. Don't primer it until you're ready to paint it.

cool thanks for the suggestions guys either way it want be long till I paint it But I really want to mod a little first I dont plan on selling no time soon

I said paint cause once you start modding you won't have the money to paint, 1k for paint isn't anything to the money it will cost to mod it

no matter what shape or condition the paint is in doesn't make it fast , it can have a flashy paint job and be slow as s*** i rocked the black/gray primer for a year before i painted mine .i kinda wished i waited to paint it till i got my mods done but you have that so now i got to be real careful while i put it together .
