Default Summit Stars

I heard rumors, are the summit star wheels heavier then original weld prostars? If they are how much and would it be noticable at the track even? thanks!

and if anyone could post up pics of them on foxes.

Ya i'm hoping on that^

Well im turning 17 soon and money is tight at this age. I dont want to spend extra on 5-lug conversion and prostars. This way for $650 I can get: 15x8's w/ 5.5 bs for the rear, 15x4's for the front, and mickey thompson sportsman fronts. (Have slicks already)

no need for 5 lugs... I've run low 11's with 4 lug with only upgrade to axles = set of yukon heavy duty axles... and they have worked well

Im just saying that with 5 lugs you have a better selection in wheels.

you were just saying how money is tight well 5 lug conversion will add up

i have been waving the idea too of switching to 5 lug but i am only really interested in either back cobra r's or weld draglites and i can get in 4 lug so i dont see the need yet to switch .

If you read that again you can see im saying i dont want 5 lugs and that i can get a set-up for cheap w/ summits wheels.

They are a few pounds heavier, but you probably wont notice. The five lug used to be popular conversion, but there are so many options for four lug wheels now that is not neccesary.

Hopefully its not that noticable because my car is a 90% drag car, 10% street car.
