Messing around with my street launch......and my camera

I start off easy in first to get moving, hit second and slam it....but feather it at around 5-Grand until I get going.....then up to third to about 80mph

If I just hit third, it will bog out...........but feathering it in 2nd just doesn't sound good.....what do you do?????

heck no ..I hammer it from the get go ...but then again I ditched the street tires years ago MT ET STREET RADIAL FTW!!!

 

I have good street tires.....but where I am in Cali, there is NO traction on the roads at all [:@]

When I spin my tires, they don't even screach.....they just spin freely and quietly....I have never seen it before

They say it is from all the eucalyptis trees....Since it never rains, the trees cause oil that soaks in the road, making it slippery.....I say WIERD!?! But it is true......you should see when it finally rains, it is like ice

Its OK....I am going back home to NY next month!!!!!I remember the road conditions being much better there....at least when it is not winter

 

I cant hook for CHIT here in Cali either. My Radial T/A's spin all the way till third. I feather 1st and 2nd when going from a dig.

 

I tried another video today....this time I mounted the camera in the backseat.....

I did a nice launch, got home....checked out the video, as soon as I hit it....the camera jolted back and stared at the ceiling the whole time LOL!!

I guess I need to keep it strapped down in the front with me

Are you talking on the street? Or the Track?? If I slam first, I am not going anywhere.......then again, I don't have drag slicks on my car either
