what kind of stone is recommended for porting alum? im thinking about getting some stones and porting out my explorer intake?

Stones will clog up, sanding tips are what is preferred. You can use carbides also but be very gentle, they cut fast and deep.

you can use stones but if you do use lots of wd40 it will help keep it from cloging

Go to Eastwood.com, Search porting kit and get the sanding cones, I did my gt-40 and came out real nice
