cheapest five lug conversion

RE: cheapest five lug conversion
wrecking yard.
rear axles with brakes and the attaching brackets from several different fords will work. i used 88 mk vii's and rotors etc. bolted right up. problem with this setup is it moves the hubs out board 3/4" on each side. nice for corner carving but limits tire selection.
front spindles and brakes off a SN95 car work. i changed to a 13" cobra setup for better stopping power without so much fade.
you will need a different master cylinder as the disks require more fluid. i used one from a 94 to 98 GT 6 cyl. w/ a 1-1/16" bore.
i'm happy.
