Default Painted Drums

I finally got around to touching up my brake drums. They looked horrible and were really bothering me.

So after about 2 hours sanding and cleaning off surface rust....

Before....

AND AFTER!!!!!!!!

And to those of you who noticed. yes the pictures are taken from different sides, but i didnt get to finish the passenger side before it got dark.

But i think they look A lot better

That looks NICE!!!

I did the same thing, but I painted my front calipers and my rear drums RED........

With the rims, you gotta do something.....those old rusted drums just don't look right with the nice rims........did you use some high temp paint?

Thanks guys

Yeah i used a high temp paint... i didn't want to have to worry about doing this anytime soon again.

As for rebuilding yeah i know what you mean haha.

And i did black cause i didn't really want them to stand out to much, just look cleaner. and i have a black/yellow theme going on

If you do it right it lasts. I did what you did 5 years ago and all the paint is still there

haha! well i want to change it to the 350z daytona blue

But i don't have the $$$$.... as you can see in the 1st pic. its rough paint, chipping all over!!! [:@]

----EDIT-----

Does anybody know what the best way would be to remove some of the oxidation on my wheels without completly destroying them, and scuffing them up??

i was thinking a light steel wool, but i think that will scratch it [&:]

Any help would be appreciated.

If you look in the first picture right next to the drum is the kind of oxidation im talking about... its all over. and i hate it.

i'm going to get new wheels eventually, but i'm looking for a temporary solution!

Thanks again
