putting 347 pistons together but a problem

Default putting 347 pistons together but a problem

hi guys need some help here my dad and i started to put my 347 together and we got the cam crank in put the keith black pistons on the rods and we went to putthe rings in the oiul groove and there is like a little dial pin there and we think it is keeping the rings in the oil groove to compress. now is there a certain way to put the ring on with that pin or can we just cut that pin out please help me thanks

cut what pin out??? pic?? my kb pistons had spiral locks for the wrist pins and the rings went on easy like any other piston....some 347 pistons the oil control ring intersects with the wrist pin= normal

is it a little dimple on the rail spacer ring? If so that dimple faces down where the piston pin intersects the oil ring land

my 331 pistons had the ring support intersect but it guess technology has fixed the problems w/ that.
