95 cam selection
does anyone have a good idea as to what the limit of the 95 comp? i have a HC 331 stoker motor, heads, intake, etc, etc, but the only thing lacking is a cam. i know the EEC-IV (i think thats what my comp is called) is very picky as to what cams it likes. tuning is not a problem, i have all the SCT software needed, and going to an A9L isnt an option.
bascially, what is the limit. at the moment, im pretty set on a high RPM (neutral balance, H-beams, braced, dont worry the block will hold up) Lunati cam. part # 510A9LUN. the specs are 114* LSA, .565 lift (both sides w/ 1.6rr), 240* @ .050 I, 250* @ .050 E. i really want to get this figured out, because this is the only thing holding me back going from 230rwhp, to who knows what? thanks a lot guys!

i got a custom cam made for my sn95 of .600/.592 lift. so they can go high. if you want the computer to accept it get a custom made or the only otc one i know is the steeda 19. altho if you have the ability to tune it you can have just about anything, so u can pick what would work best with your setup.
ok, so having the comp tuned with the software will take care of that? so that means when people say that a particular cam isnt compatible with my ECU, they mean without it being retuned? then? sorry for the ingnorance, but this is my first attempt at an EFI motor. if it werent for smog testing in CT, there would be a carb on there yesterday, lol.
