well im sorry to say that when i went to lunch, i was met at a light were a damn american ricer pulled up and rolled his window down and yelled "its a ****stang" so i looked at him and showed him he was #1 in my book.....heres were it got worse. at the next light he raced to get beside me again and now we r at the light im thinking to myself im n a 86 gt with 200,00 miles, but its a stang and feels good to me. so i heard him reving what kinda sounded like a pussycharger on that PoS but wasnt sure cuz my window was up. the light turned green i dumped the clutch hit 2nd good then mastered 3rd and then thats when my heart dropped.....i saw hit tailend fly right by me and on the back of his window said "don't cry get a dodge" I was like WTF! a dodge? then i caught back up with him in traffic and his PoS said NEON SRT4 something. when did these american ricers come out and how did it just kick my MF mustang ***. im so pissed.

SRT-4s are pretty quick little cars and I don't really consider them ricers, unless they are riced out of course. There'sa guy on here with one that runs 11's. I'd still rather go slow in a Mustang than fast in a Neon though.

It's a shame though that these days, most family sedans are as fast if not faster than our cars (stock at least [8D]). Can't raelly judge a book by it's cover a lot nowadays.

guess i better hurry and get my go fast goodies to keep up with the 4 door sport cars, lol. it just makes me mad cuz when i had my first mustang an 87 t-top in the early 90's it was the fastest in town with goodies of course but one guy beat me with his gnx, it was tricked out sick. i had to sell her cuz of new baby and 6mo ago i found another t-top so i had to get her. im a foxbody lover for life, i cant help it.

Just cuz you have a V8 doesn't mean you're faster. There are PLENTY of 4 bangers on this forum that'll rape most of the V8 cars.

Neon SRT's suck. They come factory with turbo, what if 5.0s came with factoy Turbo...it be a differentstory. IMO all new dodges suck, they all have the samefront grill of the minivan. I beat one in my 01 GT and lost inmy88GT.Ford or Chevy the rest suck!

I doubt you'd be saying the same thing if the Neon came with a big V8 and the Mustang came with a turbo I4.

yeah but they're only 4 poppers in them a 8 cyl turbo wouldn't be fair against a 4 cyl turbo..anyway those srt's are fast with the boost upped...14 sec cars easy
